Strawberry Lemonade

Last week I went out to dinner with a bunch of friends.

All of us desperate Mom's needing a night off.

We drove to Denny's. Not really my idea of the best place to eat, but I was out voted by about ten other women. Joy ordered a Strawberry Lemonade. I ordered water, so did about 5 other women. When Joy's drink came out, we all changed our minds and got one also. It was SO good! So I asked our amazing waitress, Marilyn, how you made them. Just some lemonade with some frozen strawberries dropped in.

I made some yesterday for the first time.

Matt came home for lunch, so I made one special for us. He wasn't a huge fan of it. No big surprise there, he doesn't really care for any kind of lemonade.

Maddie was here to take care of his.........

She drank all 8 oz. in less than 2 min. and then begged to finish mine off!

It was so much fun. I had a blast with her here. I even painted her toenails, which I'm pretty sure her dad isn't too happy with me for. But what could I do?--she begged for it once she saw mine. She now has sparkly pink toenails:) And she loves it! She was definitely a little girl marching around my house choosing colors of nail polish, hugging everyone who cried, and drinking all the Strawberry Lemonade. :) By the time dinner came there were 9 boys in the house to feed, and 1 little girl. What a day.

Today we are working outside getting our garden ready to plant, mowing the lawn, and weeding the flower beds. It's cold, but at least there isn't any snow.....
