Goodbye Primary

Yesterday I went to my last Primary meeting. I gave away all of my books and keys--and even my bag I kept it all in:). I sat and answered all the questions the new presidency had. It was old presidency meet new presidency. It was good. The meeting lasted for an hour and a half, and I finally ran out before anyone else because it was way late--5:30--and I wanted to see Matt before he had to leave at 6:00 for his meetings. We ended up eating left overs--I was planning on Taco Salad, but I was also planning on the meeting only lasting a half hour. So the boys were extremely happy to pull everything out of the fridge and pick their favorites. They ate it all up. I feel a little empty, but good. Change needed to happen. And Kevin still has a hard time going to Primary without me, he was clinging to my neck as I tried to give him to his teacher last Sunday so I could conduct. So who knows, maybe I will still be in Primary--just without all the responsibility:) Have a great day! I'm off to clean some more and have some friends over for Kev-----who I still need to get dressed for the day. He is happily playing with blocks, stacking them high and making airplanes out of them--maybe he can stay in his pj's a little longer:)

  1. I love my time with my youngest while the others are at school. Luckily he is very mellow in the mornings while my kindergartner is gone, since I have to lay down. He's so sweet and good about playing right by me where I can see him and talk to him. Sweet times. Leaving a calling is always a mixed-emotions time for me, but change is good. Good luck with whatever else comes your way to replace it!
