Saturday and all it brings

We had a busy day today.

Lots of clean up.

Lots of family.

Lots of playing.

The boys rode the 4-wheelers for hours.

Seriously, hours! Of course, I rode with them lots to. David, Kevin, and I rode up the hills by our home. David's tiny 4-wheeler ran out of gas, so Kevin and I had to come home get a rope and go back and pull him home. It was pretty fun:)
And just so you don't think all we did was play, here's one of Grandpa C. teaching David how to mow close to the house. He's 76 years old--Grandpa, not David:)
And here's proof that Grandpa only mowed for just a little bit:)

We also picked all the trash and weeds up from the entire 2 acres and burned it all in one BIG fire. So fun for all the kids!

Suzanne, Roger, Shannon & Anthony came to visit. So we had a BBQ for lunch with lots of family and a few Friends with lots of yummy good food.

And a little side note, Roger showed me a picture of the ring he's going to give to Suzanne tonight--he's asking her to marry him!!! Finally!

Then Matt and I went to the Miss Manti Scholarship Pageant.

I have never been to one before--never really been interested in going.

But my good friend had a daughter who was in it, so of course I had to go.

Audrie won--of course!

We all knew she would:)

When I hugged Alisha after it was all over I didn't say congrats like everyone else, I said, "Welcome to a VERY BUSY year." I knew Audrie would win as soon as I found out she might run--so I told her not to:)--unless of course she wanted to be even busier than she is now. Then I told her she might want to trip while on stage a few times. She didn't do any of that, so if she ever complains to me about being busy, I will remind her that I warned her:)

We all love Audrie!!!! She is so amazing, and of course the judges saw that also. She has a maturity above her age and an inner beauty that can't be hide.

So congratulations Audrie!!
