Cousins and no sleep...

Pray for Sam--she is having a hard time.

My sister finally made it for a visit. Juanita. She lives less than 3 hours away, but hasn't been to see me for over 3 years. I know, the road goes both ways. But I have been to see her in those 3 years, lots:)

A little side note, she is the main reason I have a blog. Juanita, Holly, & Erin are the ones who talked me into doing this. And now guess what, none of them post on their blogs more than 2-3 times a year! So as often as I get a chance, I put pictures on of them that I know they wouldn't:) Right now if Juan was awake she would tell me I am a brat. But she's not awake, so I will say it. lol

Anyway, she made the forever long trip to my house with only two small setbacks. The first one happened less than an hour after she was on the freeway. Her car topper, which her husband was so kind to load but forgot to lock, came flying open and clothes went all over the freeway! No, she didn't go running and pick them all up. Some lucky person is going to find a lot of kids clothes sometime soon. I guess technically she could get a fine and ticket for littering, but I'm not telling anyone.

Then, as if that wasn't enough, her daughter, Natalie, got car sick and put her head out the window to get a breath of fresh air. They were going 85mph at the time. Yup, she pucked everywhere. Have you ever tried dumping water out of a car while going down the freeway? Same thing happens with puck--it all blew back in the car all over everything--including her older sister who was sitting in the very back seat behind her! And did Juanita throw up at all--nope, she laughed hysterically and called and told us all about it! I would have lost my cookies for sure.

So now I understand why she doesn't make it to my house very often:)

The older boys are at school.

Matt is at work.

Rachel, Natalie, and Kevin are playing in the loft.

Juanita, Ammon, and Enoch are fast asleep--thank goodness.

Ammon was not very nice at all and woke everyone up at 4:00 am--well, I think he got Juanita up earlier than that, but I wasn't nice enough to wake up and hear that she needed help any earlier than that. Even then it took Matt nudging me a little saying that he really thought Juan could use a little help before I drug my lazy body out of bed. All it took from me was taking Ammon from her and telling him there was no way I was giving him back to his Mommy until he was nice to her. Ammon will be 3 on Wednesday--that's tomorrow. He doesn't want to be 3. He told me so himself in the wee hours of the not so morning. He wants to be a baby still--so cute! Enoch was born 14 months after Ammon, so Ammon feels very pushed out of his baby life and wants it back. Enoch on the other hand is so easy going and hardly ever complains about anything. He lets me hold him and do all kinds of things for him. Ammon doesn't like me--and this morning didn't help that at all. He really doesn't like me now--but he listens to me and is nice to his mom when I walk in the room:) I am a mean aunt....

Here Juan is snoring:) The two boys are behind her snoring too.

Sweet dreams!
