Kevin caught a chicken yesterday.
Well, he caught several of them.
It's a game for him, and he loves it:)

So sad!
Kevin and I spent the afternoon tearing it apart and trying to fix it.
This one won't be as easy to fix as the dryer, I'm sure.
It seems like the beginning of Spring always brings broken things in my home.
Always.
Last year it was my dryer (a different part than this time), and my microwave.
Both of them broke right before Pageant.
Seriously!
Talk about a CRAZY month!
The year before that it was my dishwasher---in April of course.
I took a year to get that one fixed.
Matt kept telling me to just buy a new one.
I kept telling him that it wasn't something that was a big deal.
I was sure it was just clogged--but I didn't dare rip it apart.
Not like I do with the dryer, microwave, and sewing machine.
So, Matt finally took it apart for me.
Sure enough--it was just clogged:)
So glad I didn't spend $500.00 to get a new one.
Now my dryer is broken--again.
The part is in the mail.
And this morning as I was making a wonderful breakfast of waffles and bacon, my waffle iron died. Yup--just like that. It was cooking fine, then just stopped. UGH!! I am so tired of taking things apart and learning how they work and how to fix them. So, since this one can be replaced for under $30.00 it's going in the garbage! Done. I will order a new one online--and yes Juan, I will use your card so you can have more points:) I figure we've had it for 10 years, so it's okay to get another one.
Last night we colored eggs for Easter.
And we had ice cream.
The boys had a blast!
