Monday Birthday

I tried to get a wonderful picture for you all, but this new computer is throwing me for a loop and I can't find any of the ones I downloaded on here. I guess that really shows my age. When I got married I worked at the computer lab at snow college. My dad sold computers. And I was always on top of the new technology. Now I am clueless to it all--it's just not a priority anymore.

Today is my birthday. Yup--on a Monday. The Monday after Easter no less. My house doesn't have even one square inch in it that is clean. Kevin is still sick, I will be taking him to the doctor later. I have a list with at least 25 things on it I have to get done. That's my life--the life of any mother. A birthday is just like any other day:) Except for the fact that all my boys listened extra well this morning. They made their beds and brought their laundry downstairs without one word of complaint. They thought they cleaned their rooms too--but I almost cried when I walked into them after they left and saw how dirty they still were. UGH!

David was the one who remembered my birthday first. He whispered to Kevin that he should wish me a Happy Birthday! Kevin instantly whispered to me that it was his birthday and I needed to make him a dinosaur cake:) Gotta love that kid of mine.

I'm off to sweep, mop, and clean some toilets:)
