Pageant & dinner time conversations....

Pageant is almost here!
Yup, it really is.
The opening fireside is tonight.
It all kind of snuck up on me this year.
So, if you want to come, or know anyone who does, just let me know.
The show dates are June 16-18 & 21-25
I have the 18th booked, and Suzanne is getting married the 24, so the 23-25 is booked with wedding guests who will also take time to see Pageant. All the other dates are open--and it's all free of charge! So don't miss it......you will love it and want to come every year!
My boys lined up with cousins at the parade on Saturday.Waiting for more candy--I think Matt is getting some good stuff to snack on from Jared's bag:)
It was Scandinavian Days--so there were tons of fun things to do on Saturday. After the parade, we all went over to Snow College for the fun activities.
This was the one that kept my boys attention longest. The bee hive was the other attention keeper, but this one they had to be dragged away from. It was on muzzle loader guns. There were at least a dozen different guns that were just too amazing for my boys to walk away from. They even let they pick them up and feel how heavy they were. :)
Trying out some pioneer games.
The weather was perfect--not too hot and not too cold.
We had Crystal and her family here visiting for the weekend. So there was a big family dinner at our house after church today. Crystal and Jon were trying to leave, but wanted to clean the kitchen up a little before going. Crystal told all the kids to clear their own plates from the table. There was one plate left, and it was blamed on the boys--because it was on the side on the table that all of the boys sat on. David was quick to let her know it wasn't his. Crystal asked him how he was so sure, because it was on the girls side after all. David's response......
"I sat on the girls side!"
Maybe you had to be here, but it was a great laugh!
