A horse in my backyard

I thought I put a picture on here--but I can't find it now. Oh well--I'll try and add it later.

Just before lunch today I looked out the window and saw a horse in my backyard. I showed Kevin, which was a mistake. It is cold and rainy today--and of course Kevin just had to go out and see the horse. It's my neighbors horse, he got out and was enjoying the grass growing in the yard. I didn't mind at all, he was so fun to watch. But Kevin instantly ran outside to say "Hi" to the horse. I told him to be sure and stay on this side of the fence while talking to him. Do you think Kevin listened at all? Nope, not even for one second. He instantly walked to the gate, went in, and stood right in front of the horse. He tried to pet it, but the horse wasn't interested in that, so he turned and walked away. Then I had the fun job of getting him away from the horse, because you never know....

Matt was gone last night, all night long. He's in St. George for work. I missed him so much that I stayed up late reading his journal. I fell asleep with all the happy thoughts he writes about going through my head. I wish he would write in it more often......
