Do you ever get sick of winter?
Sick of being stuck inside?
Sick of kids going crazy from being trapped inside?
Sick of waking up to a cold house?
Sick of looking outside and seeing nothing but snow?
I do.
This is how I solve it....
Alisha--you should have seen her when it was all in her hands!
Erin--Maddie was a football to make it in the house. Her 4 year old carried the tote you see on the floor.
We bead.
It's very, very good therapy!
This was the day after the kids went back to school after the long Christmas and New Years break. We were dieing to get out. Of course, I stayed home, so I didn't really get out. But that's OK--because I had as much stuff as these two, but didn't have to move it all to their house. Becky came too, but I didn't grab a pic of her. I'll have to do that next time:)
We also planed a menu. It was tons of help to just look at it and know what to cook!
We just sat at the table and talked, laughed, beaded, talked about menus, and ate chips and salsa. We let the kids run around playing with everything they could find--Yes Ryan, David, Jason, and Jared--I locked your bedrooms up tight. It was such a great day.
And the longer winter goes, the more days like this I long for....
Oh fun! I got my bead stuff for Christmas . . . but I had to put it away for awhile. When I am not sick anymore, I'll pull it out! I knew if I tried beading with morning sickness, I'd never be able to do it again . . .
