My house...

Most of you know that we built and designed our home.

We were planning on selling it, the entire time we designed and built it.

But we secretly hoped we would live in it.

We did try selling it, but told the realtor that we wouldn't budge much on the price.

We know, the market is way bad, but we listed it for less than the appraisal, and it wasn't worth it to sell it for less. Obviously, it didn't sell:)

We designed it to be way kid and family friendly.

So, no I'm not mopping today, but because it was deigned to be friendly to me that way, and you have to look way close at my wood floor to notice, I think I can get away with it.

So, for Christmas Matt made my island for me that I have always wanted:)

It's shorter than my other counters.

That's a special request I made.

Now I can roll out cinnamon rolls, cookies, breads, everything so easy!

And just so you know, I swept and did the dishes before I posted this blog.

(You are looking at that dustpan thinking "It's a good thing she swept!")

Just remember I live on 2 acres and have lots of boys running in and out of my house. And lots of other people for that matter. It's tons of fun, and tons of dirt:)

I also took a picture of my hair to show you all, but I don't like it enough to post it yet.
