My day...for Sam:)

One of my good friends is on a vacation.
With her hubby:)
Well, her husband had to go on a work trip, so she took her baby and tagged along. It was to warmer weather, St. George, who can blame her for wanting to go.
She is the friend who always takes my kids for me when I tag along on Matt's work trips.
She never leaves her kids with me.
So this time, because her mom-in-law just had surgery, she left 3 of the younger kiddos with me.
We are in heaven!
The loft, with blankets and pillows blocking any chance we might see how long their flashlights were on reading Garfield:)
Jason and Dallin slept up there.
Brayden really wanted to--he's 4 and very determined.
It only took me an hour to finally get him to not climb the ladder and stay in "his" bed--which was Jared's because Jared wanted to sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag.
The floor this morning.
Most of the boys wanted to sleep there.
We had 3 empty beds in the house.
Brayden and Kevin are the only ones who don't go to school yet.
They are having a blast with the house to themselves.
After laying in bed for an hour talking with Matt about all that has been going on lately, we were late starting our day. The boys were all a big help, making their own lunches and helping take care of animals, so everyone made it to school with time to spare.
But just to be safe, I went to the store and got some cereal for tomorrow morning, and some pepperoni for pizza tonight. We've got a few picky eaters, and I want everyone to have a full tummy so sleep will come quickly:)
Paper airplane mess.
We had parent teacher conferences this past week.
They always have a book sale at the middle school during ptc.
Ryan talked me into buying an airplane making book.
Now I have paper airplanes and paper pieces all over my upstairs.
Everyone is enjoying the book though--and all the cool stuff they are making with it.
So to be nice (normally I would make them clean it all up when they got home from school) since they have friends over--so this is like a vacation time in their own home. I will man the 4 year old and 3 year old with bags and we will get everything picked up and put in the trash. I'm sure it will be done just in time for everyone to walk through the door again and start it all over:)
These are some of my boys best friends ever--Dallin, Austin, and Brayden.
And like I said, Erin doesn't let me have them very often because she has family to help her out. (And just for the record, she doesn't leave them that often)
So we have to take full advantage of the fun of having them in our home.
But we still have to keep a schedule--they do have to go to school:)
