Warm days

Kevin and I were able to spend the majority of the after noon outside yesterday:)

Yes! Finally!!!

In case you can't see, he is covered in water and mud.

He went through 5 pairs of pants, tons of socks, and all his shoes before I finally resorted to a t-shirt, underwear and bare feet.

I was a mean mom and made them move the flow of the water away from the door.

The snow is melting so fast, and it's been such a wet winter, that all the water is running like a river through our yard. The boys had a blast in it! Jared even put his swimming suit on and ran with Kevin in the deepest parts.

I played Lightning Basketball with David, in which he won most of the games, but I did win a few:) Then I sat on the porch and knitted while my boys ran and played. At one point Kevin took his underwear off and just had a shirt on. Ryan about died and said he wasn't a part of this family--but right after he said it he sat down next to me on the porch and told me all about his day--so I know he didn't mean it:)--I was also fast to point out all the times he had done the same thing.

And just for the record, I did make Kevin put his underwear back on, after a few runs through the water---his shirt was way long, so it's not like you could see anything anyway. And we don't exactly live where a lot of people drive by anyway, not one single person came by the entire time he was running in the water.

It was a good day.

Now I get to go on a date with Matt---all day long! Well, till 4:00 anyway.
