Busy day...

Have you ever had one of those days where you try to just get too much done?
I seem to have a lot of them:)
The bread I baked today so my family wouldn't starve:)
The day started out pretty early actually--around 4:30 a.m.
Just couldn't sleep anymore, too much to talk about with my sweetheart, Matt.
But I did get some exercise time in today--a little--before I hit the shower.
Then breakfast and lunches ready, scripture study, and a rush to get the kids out the door looking somewhat decent.
Next I grind the wheat for bread and mix it all up.
Check my e-mail about 20 times just in case:)
Gather all my quilting supplies together and get them in the car.
Call a few people that I've needed to ask a few questions.
Get the bread into loaf pans and run out the door to Becky's.
Help her put her awesome quilt on some frames and start quilting it.
My calendar on my phone started beeping right when I was re threading my needle.
Oh no! I'm supposed to have a fruit salad to the church at 11:00 for a funeral today!
Ahhhh--it's 10:45 and I'm not even home!
Leave Kevin at Becky's to play with Jacob.
Drive home--only going the speed limit (maybe a little over--maybe).
Turn my oven on to pre-heat.
Grab the cool whip out of the freezer and throw it in the microwave to defrost.
Turn the computer on and check my e-mail--yet again:)
Put bread in oven.
Mix everything together.
Check e-mail.
Drive to church--only 15 min. late with salad.
Walk the salad calmly into kitchen in church.
Go home.
Chop some apples and grab some hot dogs to take back to Becky's for the hungry boys.
Check email.
Take bread out of oven.
Check e-mail.
Go back to Becky's.
Feed the boys.
Quilt and laugh and talk.
Then to the post office, and finally home again a little before 1:00.
My bread is a little flat, I let it rise too long.
But my family will have dinner tonight:)
Tomato soup (that I canned) and grilled cheese.
And I get to go to the last night of my knitting class and learn how to knit thumbs tonight while Matt and the boys have a little boy only party:)
Not too bad.
I have done worse.
Have a great day!:)
