I have to admit that I really didn't care too much for St. Louis. I could have skipped it altogether. But the boys did think it was great to go to the top of the arch and ride on the Tom Sawyer Riverboat. And yes, that was neat, but it just couldn't compare to all the other things we had seen and done.

All in all, we were in Colorado, Kansas (for too long), Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois. We loved our trip, and really want to go again, soon. But we will wait for Kevin to turn 5 first. On the way home, I refused to stop for him (we would have never made it). So, during the night I took him out of his car seat and held him for 3 hours, praying the entire time, and he slept great. Of course he woke up when he was put back in his car seat. He did a little better for a while, but we were glad Matt had bought some ear plugs. Although we had more fun than I can even describe, I can definitely say that there is no place like home. We are happy to be back and into our routine again. I've already painted another room and taken everyone except Kevin to see the dentist. Life is in full swing again and we are loving it!
