Soccer First Place!

David played his last game of soccer last night.

It was the last game of the tournament.

His team came out undefeated :)

In spite of the fact that their team was also almost half the size of every other team they played, meaning that while the other team was able to rotate boys and stay rested, David's team had to play the entire game with no resting at all.

They are an amazing team to watch play!

Instead of a trophy they were given really cool shirts....that said "no helmet required"

David thought that was pretty great, and even rubbed it in Ryan's face just a little.

(Ryan just finished his first year of football...which does require helmets, for a very good reason:))

 

A big congrats to David and the rest of his soccer team!!!!

Can't wait to see you all play next year in high school!

 

 

And now I can finally have my evenings back for a while.

No more running from one game to the next.

No more family nights spent bouncing from game to game.

I will miss it a little.

But I"m so ready to have just my little family around me for a while.
