Ryan had his Science Olympiad competition this past Saturday.
I had never even heard of that until this year.
It was pretty awesome!
Ryan did really well, earning a Silver in towers and a Bronze rocks and minerals.
Here is my amazing boy with his friend Cody---he's pretty great too :)
The two of them decided to compete in the rocks and minerals at the last minute.
So they didn't have time to study at all.
Not one minute of it.
And they still manged to place 3rd!
Pretty impressive :)!!!
Kevin is getting used to spending time by himself during the day now.
Most of his friends attend pre-school or kindergarten or 1st grade.
A few weeks ago I told him we really needed to limit his time in front of the TV and computer.
He was getting WAY to much of it.
So now he watches George in the morning, sometimes Cat in the Hat, and then doesn't get any other electronic "entertainment" until after all the kids are home, with chores and everything else if there's time.
Kev really had a hard time with that for the first week.
Now he's doing pretty great.

Army guys and a toy gun he made at Grandpa Swain's house.
I LOVE to clean the house while listening to Kev talk about all the adventures he's going on with his toys. It is a lot more time consuming for me not having him entertained by electronics--meaning my house hasn't really been clean since we started this. But I am getting lots more quality time with my Kev, and that's what counts :)
