Yesterday we started to do something crazy to our still kind of new house.
We have talked about it for months, well actually we talked about it first when we were building it and didn't like the big tall wall, but didn't do anything about it then.
We started talking about it again several months ago.
Yesterday we took action.
Ryan was in heaven!
What boy wouldn't be when given permission to knock holes into the walls of their home?!
Well, I guess Matt is a boy who wasn't too thrilled about it......he was stressed as it is a very big undertaking that he alone has to figure out how to do because none of the rest of us are contractors :)
This is what it looks like upstairs right now....well we did get a 3 pieces of sub floor on, but you get the idea.
This was right before we started.
The balcony was the first thing to go.
David, and all the other boys, were pretty thrilled to see the dangerous sight of looking downstairs without any protection.
Now my house is in remodel zone.
Crazy!
I think I'm going to like the results :)
