I still LOVE knitting.
It's my out.
My break.
My thinking process.
Yesterday I read a talk by Elder Boyd Packer.
It was an amazing talk.
He told about how he used to carve wood and make sculptures out of it.
Someone once asked him how long it took him to carve a piece.
He answered, "I don't know. If I knew I'd quit."
He said that carving was how he would rest his body and mind.
He would write talks while he carved.
His mind would just think and ponder things, spiritual things, while he carved.
And things would just fit together.
This is how I feel about knitting.
Whenever I am uptight, I just need to knit.
And who cares how long it takes :)
Baby girl hat.
Baby boy/girl hat
Holly is having a baby any day now.
She didn't find out what she's having, so I knitted both of these for her to choose from.
Hats are my favorite thing to knit!
Although I do knit other things, I always end up taking a break from them and knit a few hats for fun.
