Ice Fishing Success

The boys had so much fun ice fishing!

 Dad, David, Darren (Matt's bro), Ryan, Kevin, Jared, Jason

They brought a total of 13 1 1/2-2 1/2 lb fish home.

We will be having a feast for dinner tonight!

They also brought some amazing videos home of the redneck paragliding they did.

So awesome!

They had the amazing idea to sit in the camping chairs and hold a big piece of plastic in front of them.  The wind was blowing just right and the ice was way slick.  They were flying in the videos....having the time of their lives!

Jason caught the most fish....of course, he always does.

David lost his 2 best knives when he bent over his ice hole and watched them fall out of his pocket and sink into the freezing cold water.

We had scheduled some friends to help us move heavy stuff at 4, but by the time they all got home at 3 we decided to cancel that.

We were all ready for a break.

So we will move everything on Monday...without Ryan's help because he has to work.

Lucky boy......

 

While they were all fishing and playing I was working, working, working.

I got all the upstairs carpets cleaned.

Windows washed.

Walls washed.

More things packed.

And muffins made :).

So we watched a movie downstairs for the first time ever in this home, popped popcorn, and put the boys mattresses on the wood floor for them to sleep on.

Matt said he felt like a stranger in his own home.

I didn't though....I felt like I was sleeping I such a nice clean home, well at least the upstairs.  The downstairs looks horrible.....which makes it still mine.  Maybe I will feel like a stranger when it's all clean.....
