Yesterday Kev really wanted to have a party.
He climbed onto the cupboards and searched for everything he would need for the perfect party while I swept the kitchen floor.
As soon as he found what he was looking for----sprinkles of course----we were set!
Out came the apple juice.
Out came the strawberries mixed with whipped topping left over from dinner the night before.
2 plates.
2 spoons.
2 cups.
Sprinkle on all the toppings you want.
0 for mine (I just couldn't stomach it).
Tons for his.
Stir to perfection.
Next came the candles.
Then we took it all to the table.
Lit our candles.
Sang "Happy Party Day" :)
Made a wish and blew our candles out.
He even took one of his special cars and wrapped it for Matt to have when he got home.....which was so late that Kev had to give it to him this morning.
It was a perfect moment!
You know, one of those that you want to just have everything freeze and stay that way forever.
I was blessed to see the world through Kev's eyes.
And what an amazing world it is!
