Happenings.....lots of them.

I am not good at scrapbooking.
Hate it actually.
Love looking at the pictures in books all organized and journaled.
Hate the process it takes to get them there.
I'm so far behind too!
Just finished October 2005.
It's bad news bears for sure!
My friend Becky showed me her amazing book several months ago.
It was a book of her blog!!!
How awesome is that?!!!
As I thumbed through it I thought, "This is the perfect solution for me!  Just keep up on my blogging, post every picture I ever take, and boom.  It's all done for me.  Printed and bound in a nice hard bound full color book. PERFECT!"
Or so I thought......
Life happens......busy....busy...busy....and the next thing I know I haven't blogged in days.
Ugh!
So here is a feeble attempt to catch up.

As you might know we have been remodeling our new home....already.
With the remodel comes the perfect excuse to paint.
Which you might not already know I just LOVE doing.
If my health would let me I would be repainting the entire house right now, well not the camo room, but the rest of it :)
Matt came home for lunch and caught me painting the entry way....which took me 3 days.
Yes, I'm a lot slower now than I used to be.
But hey, at least I can still paint!
Don't you just love that color?!
I do :)
You can see the new ceiling in the picture above.

One of Matt's last work trips was lots of fun I guess for Kevin.
Not that he got to go with Daddy, but he did get a toy out of the deal :)
 A semi truck!
What little boy doesn't love to pull trailers and semi's around.

Last Sunday we had the most amazing day!
It was beautiful!
A day like that calls for watermelon!

We ate every last bit of it all by ourselves :)
I would have shared, but no one stopped by till it was all gone....not that we were upset by that.
It was YUMMY!

And this is what the boys did for me on the morning of my b-day....

Jason, with the help of Matt, made this stool for me.
I LoVe it sooooo much!!!!
You will see me 90 years old and still using it!

Kev also built me something.
He spent an entire week on it.
See the nails hammered into the logs?
It's a house some of the time, and a shed the other times.
Either way it's special just for me :)

A little side note, how do like my jammies?
We are having a Relief Society activity this week.
It's on exercising and staying healthy.
They are giving a prize to the person who comes in the cutest work-out clothes.
Now, I'm not naive enough to think I would win, but do I dare wear my paint stained cut off ugly clothes to a meeting at the church?!
We shall see come Wednesday night......
