Fishing

Before Matt and I were married we had a wedding shower.
I know, lots of people do that, we followed the trend.
One of the games that was played was seeing how much we knew about each other.
For every question we got wrong, we had to put a piece of gum in our mouth.
I had a HUGE wad by the time it was over.
I had to keep taking it out of my mouth so I could answer the questions.
Matt's was pretty much the same size as mine.
One of the questions was,
"What is Matt's favorite sport?"
I said, "Football!"
Whatever....I was so wrong.
Fishing......that was the answer he gave.
Until that day I had no idea fishing was a sport!
I thought it was a hobby :)

So on Friday Matt called and asked if we had anything going on that night, any commitments he had maybe forgotten about, anything that would make us busy all night.
Nope.
Nothing.
Just a night free.
Hasn't happened in weeks.
then he announced that he was coming home early, by a half and hour, and going fishing.
I don't even remember the last time he went fishing.
So home he came, loaded Jason and Kevin up (Ryan was riding horses, David had a friend over, and Jared just wanted to stay home with me) and off they went to the closest lake---9 mile.
They fished and fished and fished.
Jason
He takes after his dad most in this area.
He could spend hour upon hour fishing.
Ryan is right there with him I guess. :)

 Kevin
Loves fishing also.....tons.....once he remembers he can't throw rocks in the lake :)
This is the fish they brought home.
They caught a few, but Matt is mostly a catch and release fisherman.
They had SO much fun!
It made me so very, very happy that they got to have this break.
Matt told me when he got home that it just might be his regular after work break.
I let him know that would be awesome!......as long as he let all the boys tag along---which he will.
He loves spending time with his boys :)
