Baseball & Horses

A few weeks ago we had a beautiful weekend.

Amazing weather!

We are getting more of that then not lately and it is sooooooo nice!

We were going to go for a short family walk, since I can't do much more than that right now, but we ended up only making it as far as our backyard......which was perfect :)

The boys all played a game of baseball while I sat on the weeds growing up and watched their happy faces.

I couldn't have asked for a better evening........

For FHE a few Monday's ago we went to Polly's for a horse ride, or two, or three :)

 David--was more reserved, but had just as much fun as all of them.

 Jason--having, like always, no fear of anything and loved every single minute of it!

 Kevin--who thought he was going to have to ride the baby horse, and was thrilled beyond belief when not only did he get to ride a big horse, but the biggest one there (we didn't bother telling him she was the oldest also :)).

 Ryan--who rides horses lots now with his friend Cody so he was pretty confident.

Jared--who didn't want to ride at first and couldn't get enough when we left.

Polly offered to let us bring one of the horses home, keep her on our land, and ride her whenever we wanted.  I was the only one who said no---mean mom that I am.

I can only handle so much right now, and we just got 2 bummer lambs today, so I'll take that and no more.

I am seriously thinking about enrolling a few boys in horse riding lessons this summer though.

That should be fun for them :)
