Work and Play

I have told you before how much my boys don't like Saturdays.

Well here's a good Sunday for you.

All ready for church and playing till it's time to go.

I'd say that's a good balance of work and play!

It always amazes me what a big help the little kids are :)

Holly was visiting. She and I were really getting worn down from a week of kids, kids, and kids. Saturday morning came and Matt went to help his Dad with a few things. He took Ryan with him--the oldest. Not sure why we didn't send a few of the others. :) Anyway, Holly and I gave him a shopping list of a few things we needed, including diapers, and then we bundled all the little kiddos up and went outside to split wood. It was SO fun! Holly was a hog of the ax. I only got to split a few. Most of the time we used a splitter, but we took a break from it and used the ax for a while. It felt so good :).

The kids even helped.
