Primary Program & cutting ties...

I've told you before how awesome Bishop Stilson is.

Yes--for real..

He's in the Bishopric and pretty awesome also.

Brother Pipes (also very awesome) was letting kids cut his also.

Oh, and Brother Sadler (only called a little while ago, but awesome) joined in on the fun too.

They all came in as a Bishopric last week to let the kids know that if they sang really well for the primary program this week, they would come in and let them all cut their ties. I wish I would have grabbed a picture of the end result--it was so great! Every single kid in the primary got to cut a piece (most kept them as momentous). All 4 of their ties were tiny little stubs. Perfect!

The program was pretty perfect also. I absolutely LOVE listening to kids sing at church. There really isn't a faster way to invite the spirit into the chapel. They take the entire meeting singing, with a few of them giving short talks. I was so close to tears most of the meeting. I love all these kids in my ward. I was in charge of sharing time today also, so by the time I got home, I was in great need of a nap. Which I got, and enjoyed every single minute.
