Jason, David, Kevin, Jared
Last Saturday--not yesterday, the one before that--Ryan and Matt had the opportunity to do baptisms for the dead at the Temple. I decided to go along and take in the peace and joy. It was a last minute decision. Before I planned on going, David had asked if he could ride his bike to the library when it opened. I gave him permission if he took a brother with him. Then I decided to go to the temple, so I asked David to babysit until we got home. I forgot all about the library request.
When we got home from the temple our home was a quiet as the temple had been.
Not normal.
It was also empty of all boys.
Where were they?
We looked all over inside and out.
We counted the bikes.
2 missing.
We looked for the bike trailer.
It was there.
Next the stroller.
It was gone.
I hopped in the car and found the boys quietly--kind of--looking for books at the library.
They walked and rode all that way for some books.
I couldn't be mad.
So I just asked them to leave a note telling me where they were next time.

Ha ha ha ha!!! Oh, what cute kids . . . (That must have been such a scary feeling, though!)
