The Jacobs......some of our favorite people ever.....came to visit last June during the middle of Pageant time. Hannah...the youngest daughter....was living with us at the time so she could be in Pageant. So most of the rest of the family came to see her perform and visit with us.
Mike was so wonderful and took ALL the boys for an entire day so I could breath for a while :)
They went to Maple Canyon and had the time of their lives!
Ryan, Jared, David, Kevin, Preston J., & Jason
They went through a lot to get up there, as you will see in some of the pictures below.
Jerky.........what boy doesn't love jerky? :)

Such AWESOME people!
2 days before Pageant was over, we left on a family vacation, all of the way to the East coast....but I will tell more about that later.
The day before we left this is what my lawn looked like.
A stake from Orem Utah called me in Jan to ask of a place they could stay with a very large crowd for Pageant.
That late in the year (places get booked a year in advance) I told them my home was the only place I could think of.
So they came :)
And shared some amazing pictures with me :)
Love this Temple....it's where Matt and I were married, and I go there every Tuesday morning now.
This is some of the group who stayed at our home waiting for the show to start.
Nephite Jared, Nephite Mom, & young Henshaw child Kevin
We walked into the audience to visit with them.
Jared wearing Jason's Lamanite wig.
And Kev trying it on.
Jason & David are in this scene somewhere...they were both Lamanites this year.
Kev is in the spotlight here as the Henshaw child.
We left early the next morning while they were all still asleep.
When we got home 2 weeks later our lawn was DEAD in all the spots where everyone walked.
But it came back real quick and we would do it all over again.
It was a great experience, and I pray that all the youth felt the spirit while here.
You can see the 4 buses, tons of tents & cars, and my home.
I wish I could do this every year :)
So......give me a call if you want to book a yard :)
