What is old?

The other day I was talking with someone about scouts.
She asked me if Jared was going to Webeloes Woods.
I said no, because he wasn't old enough.
He has to be 10 to go.
She looked at me and reminded me I had just barely told her his birthday was coming up real fast.
And he will be 10.
10!
My 4th boy 10!
Yikes!
So it got me thinking about age.
For a long time I thought that if you had kids in high school then you were pretty old.
Now I have one in high school, 2 next years, 2 years after that 3.....etc.
I don't feel old.
Not at all.
So maybe you feel old when you become a grandparent.
That's got to be it.
Except I have some dear friends who are grandparents and they aren't old at all.
Not in my eyes at least.
So really, when do you feel old?
What age is old?
Then it hit me.
I think that old age will sneak up on me just like Jared turning 10 is.
One day I will feel young as can be, running and playing games all the time with my grand kids.
Then something will happen, most likely someone will make me step back and look at my life from their perspective instead of mine.
And it will hit me like a semi......I will realize I'm old.
I hope I'm almost 100 before I meet that someone who will put my in my place on my age.......
