My dinner at the Garden Restaurant in the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
Matt had a mission reunion this past Friday night.
I enlisted the help of a dear friend to whom I will forever be in debt to watch my kiddos.
And off we went, early in the morning till way late at night.
Just me and my sweetheart.
He was checking out some hunting guns for Ryan.
This is pretty much the only thing he did for himself.
The entire day was spent shopping for cute clothes for me--which were very hard to find, but we did have some success. Then we had a yummy dinner where I've always wanted to eat but never wanted to spend the money on.
Oh, and we did go the mission reunion also.
It was great to see the 4 people there he knew.
(There were more people there, just none Matt served with.)
Jared & Alissa are in trouble for not coming.
All in all I had the time of my life!
I've been canning nonstop for weeks.
I was so worn out that I didn't even knit of the entire drive.
I just sat back and talked and talked and talked with Matt.
My cup was empty.
Now it is full.
I love dates with my sweetheart!
