We took a trip to Vernal & Manila this past weekend.
It started out pretty bad with our cars transmission acting up on our way there.
We had to turn around in Mt. Pleasant Friday night and head back to Manti.
Through lots of tender mercies and answers to prayers we were able to make it home, Matt's talent found another car which he called about at 6am on a Sat morning, and we made it to Vernal by noon Sat....which is what Ryan had prayed for:). There is a lot more detail to that story, but that's the gist of it.
It was a great weekend!

Saturday night we went to Manila for the Sweetheart Dance there.
Meagan asked Ryan to go with her after she found out we were planning on spending the weekend in Vernal :)

In Manila everyone goes to the dances, stag or with a date, so Ben & David went along.
They all had a great time.
We didn't get back to Vernal until almost 1 am on Sunday....ugh.
We got to see lots of Elk on the way home though :)
This was Ry's first official date....not counting the one I made him take me on on his birthday.
So weird to have a boy old enough o date!!!!
