Jared and what's fair.......

I just had a very informative conversation with Jared.
He was on his way outside to feed and water the lambs and chickens.
He stopped by the door and this is the conversation we had....

J "Mom, when can we get a chicken that lays like 5 eggs a day?"
M "Um, there isn't a chicken that lays that many eggs in one day.  That many a week, but not in one day."
J "Then how do the stores get all their eggs?"
M "They buy them from lots of farmers who have hundreds and hundreds of chickens."
J "Oh.......wait! That isn't fair cause they don't feed them and take care of them!"
M....with a big smile on my face because it's moments like this that remind me just how much I LOVE being a mom :)..."Well the farmers are okay with it because they pay them for the eggs."
J "Oh"
And out the door he went.

I just love that boy of mine!
