Jewelry for sale

As some of you may know I have an addiction with making jewelry.
It is something I really love to do.
It is therapy for me.
There is really only one problem with this.....I really don't wear much jewelry.
Not much at all.
Oh, and it costs money to do.
So, my amazing sister Juanita has presented me with an idea to solve those problems.
Sale it all:)!!!
So here you have it---my little display full of necklaces.
Juan is going to sale it all for me. :)
This way I can finance my addiction.
Love this one....

People have been telling me for over a year that I should sale my stuff.
Just get an online store I'm told.
Problem with that is that I would loose the excitement and therapy.
It would become a job.
Orders would come in and I would have to make everything the same.
You know----I would like 3 green ones, two black, and something like the purple one.
Then i would have to make those whether I felt like it or not.
But, if I could sale the stuff i have made already, and never take orders, that would be perfect!
One of a kind homemade jewelry.
So perfect!

I made a small investment that I hope to earn every penny back on soon.
I ordered tons of beads, and some packaging supplies.
Here's one of the items I ordered......
1,000 handmade in USA stickers.
But the package they arrived in held all the irony ever.......Look close.
Yup----made in China!
Seriously!!!!
Crazy!
It reminds me of when Matt and I were shopping around Christmas time and trying to find things made in the USA.
Let me tell you, that is hard.
We were looking at pants.
Dickie's......made somewhere like India.
Carhartt.......somewhere like Argentina.
Then I saw John Deere.......now there was a brand that I just knew had to be all American!!!!
Check the tag.....nope!
Made in Indonesia....or something like that!
Crazy! Crazy! Crazy!
So, my beads and even my stickers are made somewhere else, but my necklaces are made right at my kitchen table in the good old U.S. of A!
Now to go in search of some beads made in America.......maybe I'll have to make them myself :)
