Happy Valentines Day!

The boys giving Dad his traditional Valentine, a BIG heart cookie.
We changed it to a fruit pizza this year though, because Mom gets tired of throwing away all the left over candy and cookie we just can't eat.
We did decide we needed 2 this year to share with the family coming over for dinner. Can't wait to eat it all---Yum!
Dad needs a little practice focusing the camera.
Dad got each boy (including himself) a rose to give to Mom.
I got to sleep in while they all got my bagels, cream cheese, strawberries, and roses ready. Wow! It felt like Mother's day! What awesome boys I have! Look at how cute they all are--Matt's way cute too, but you can't see him is this picture because he's behind the camera.

What a fun day we have had today! Actually, it's been a pretty great weekend! Matt bought me a temple dress (I've never owned one, and it's about time I stop spending a dollar every time I go tot he temple!). He also fixed my dishwasher!!!!! That's just the best thing ever right now. The boys all have a long weekend from school. And, you won't believe it, but it's Sunday afternoon, and my house is actually still pretty clean! Wow!
Just a little side note, I've never really been a big fan of buying flowers that are just going to die in a few days. I think it's a waste of money. But when I walked down the stairs this morning and saw all of my boys standing there with a long stemmed rose for me, I couldn't help but cry a little. I was so happy! I guess flowers are pretty great after all. I do plan on hanging them upside down before I go to bed so they will dry and last forever. :) But I am now convinced that flowers brighten a day, and it's better than chocolate, because they don't add weight to your hips. :):)
