Look at those fish!
David, Ryan, Jason, Jared, Kevin, Dad
Jason showing Kevin his catch of the day.The boys had school off this past Monday and Dad had work off---so they went ice fishing of course! I was sent on a HUGE guilt trip by all of them (Matt wasn't too bad, I'm sure because he knew the boys were doing a good enough job). They all wanted me to come, and I almost gave in and went, but I couldn't stand the thought of Kevin outside all day on the ice. You see, Kevin refuses to leave gloves on, and he also insists on touching the snow constantly. He lasts about 1/2 hour outside before his hands turn into ice themselves. So, against constant complaining from everyone, including Kevin, he and I stayed home. Matt took the older 4 and headed to Otter Creek with some friends, the Congdons. They didn't have a lot of success--only 3 fish--but they had a lot of fun. And they all got over Kevin and I not being there, especially because not only was it COLD the wind was also BLOWING non-stop all day! Kevin and I cleaned, read animal books, and stayed warm all day.
